Atul, I am sorry but the utility of this shelter looks to me more like a luxury camp than as a refuge shelter.
Sure its easy to transport and erect but will it be cheap? I believe canvas tents score as refuge shelters cause they can be easily transported and erected, they can withstand severe weather conditions and they are cheap... my thoughts.

The canvas tents do not stay for long Manish and moreover the problem is accommodation. There are cases where the refugees have to stay for long periods and such canvases do not help you much in such a circumstance. Canvas tents can still be touted as a good answer in summers but in chilling winter conditions they do not save the people in any sense. The Uber Shelter scores well on the fact that it adapts to different weather condition with additives inside.

Atul, I don’t think canvas cannot withstand sever conditions. They are extensively used in hilly as well as flat areas. Armies use them in very high altitudes. They may not be good or comfortable as accommodation but when its a question of survival, the type of accommodation hardly matters, espl since its cheap and can be very easily transported and erected. I cannot see mass use of this product in poor countries.
