Yes, their vehicles have a great ’perceived quality’ but UK statistics show a different story with regard to actual quality and service from their Network.


VW may have state of the art testing facilities, but the statistics show that VW cars are no more reliable than a Ford or Vauxhall/Opel marque.

The UK dealer service leaves something to be desired, and my view is that they take their customers somewhat for granted.

I am in the business and sell vehicles for a living. The second largest maunfacturer in the world - you know the one...

Adrian could you give me a statistical proof of what you’ve mentioned... if there is a loose nook i would love to mention it here ... i dub ford and GM as the tottering Duo as i more often than not find facts and figures which show how badly these two perform and i could not catch on to that last line of yours??? ... cheers
